Extended Care Program

Odenton Christian School understands that in today’s society it is necessary to work long, hard hours. It is also a necessity to find quality child care that is safe, reliable and affordable. Odenton Christian has a service that is available to students who are enrolled in our school. It is an extended care program in which students can be dropped off as early as 6:00 am, and stay as late as 6:00 pm. Parents who use extended care on a regular basis will save money by enrolling their students in the extended care program. In some instances, students not enrolled in the program, can use this service for a small fee.

Every student who enters the building prior to 7:45 am, and exits the building after 3:15 pm, will be charged for extended care benefits. There is a daily rate charged to those who are not enrolled in the extended care program and is as follows: Mornings- $6.00/day; Afternoons-$9.00/day. Late fees are assessed to families with students that are picked up after 6:00 pm.

All students are supervised by the staff of our school. Our staff is faithful, professional, and are dedicated in the care of your child. Extended care offers a variety of activities that are age specific for your child.

Supervised Care Program

In some instances, when OCS is closed, there is care provided for a fee. This fee is in addition to the extended care fees, whether enrolled in the program or not. Prior to each school year, a calendar of the school’s events is published, and includes the dates school is closed. In general, we offer care while closed for Teacher’s convention, Spring Break, and some days during the Christmas holidays.

The charge is $2.00/hr with a minimum charge of $10.00. Registration is required. Late fees still apply which includes a walk in or late registration fee.
